The week of December 5 – 8 we will be having a studio-wide bake sale! In the past, we have donated the bake sale money to different organizations in Tulsa and Claremore, and this year we are excited to serve our own community again! We are raising money to pay off lunch accounts for students in need within the local school systems. We hope we are able to not only pay off several lunch accounts, but also leave them with a balance to use as the school year goes on. However, we will not be able to reach our goal without your help! We are setting up two drop-off days (Monday, December 5, and Wednesday, December 7) for people to drop off individually wrapped baked goods. If you would be willing to donate some baked goods, please visit the front desk to sign up! Miss Ashlyn will also have a table set up for her small shop, Sage + Clover set up the week of the bake sale, and a portion of all sales will be donated to the lunch accounts, as well. Be sure to bring some money to class this week; it’s a great opportunity to grab some goodies and Christmas gifts while supporting a great cause!
This year, we will also be doing a canned food drive as well to donate to the Claremore First United Methodist Church food pantry! Beginning when we come back from Thanksgiving break, we will be taking non-perishable food donations until Christmas break. We are hoping to make some families’ holidays special this year!
